Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Persona, operated by o1o1 International, LLC ("Company", "we", "us"). By using Persona, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Persona provides a unified personal memory layer for AI agents. The service indexes your local files, emails, and AI agent conversations to build a structured knowledge graph accessible to any MCP-compatible AI agent. Raw content remains on your device; only structured facts and embeddings are stored on our cloud infrastructure.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use Persona.
3. Free Trial & Billing
- All paid plans include a 7-day free trial.
- You will not be charged during the trial period.
- After the trial, your subscription will automatically renew at the plan price unless canceled.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- All payments after the trial period are non-refundable. No partial refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
4. Your Data
- You own your data. We do not claim ownership of any content you index or store through Persona.
- Raw content (files, email bodies) is stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers.
- Structured data (knowledge graph facts, embeddings, conversation logs) is stored on our cloud infrastructure to enable cross-agent memory.
- Content may be sent to third-party LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google, or providers invoked by your own agent) for enrichment processing. Raw content, including any PII you include, may be temporarily visible to these providers before cloud-storage tokenization is applied.
- Before cloud storage, we automatically detect and tokenize high-risk personal identifiers (SSN, credit card numbers, bank accounts, IBAN, passport numbers). The raw values are not retained; retrieval of these values through our service is not supported. See the Privacy Policy for full details and the list of categories not currently covered.
- You may export or delete your data at any time. Upon account deletion, all cloud-stored data is permanently removed within 30 days.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Persona for any illegal purpose.
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service.
- Use the service to store or transmit malicious code.
- Exceed fair usage limits or abuse the API in ways that degrade service for others.
6. Intellectual Property
Persona, its code, design, and documentation are the intellectual property of o1o1 International, LLC. Your right to use Persona is limited to the license granted by your active subscription.
7. Limitation of Liability
Persona is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, service interruption, or damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us. Upon termination, your cloud data will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
